A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The aim of this paper is to describe the magnetic resonance signal, how it occurs, what types of the signal there are and what they are used for. In order to achieve that goal, the original article of Isidor Isaak Raby was given, which disclosed the discovery of magnetic resonance between the LiCl molecules and the external magnetic field, which was changed by the change in the power of the electric current that created that field. The difference between "continuous wave technique" and "pulsed NMR technique" is explained. The cross section of the tunnel with the main magnets of modern devices for megnet resonant imaging is shown. There are given the definitions of the net magnetization vector, concepts of spin-lattice relaxation, spin-spin relaxation, longitudinal and transversal relaxation, "Rabby`s precession", T1, T2 and T2* time constants, FID, SE, MSE, FSE , TR, TE, are graphically presented and described, as well as computer animation of spin echo and its decay.
