The specifics of changes in the morphological boundaries of architecture and sculpture in the second half of the 20th – early 21st century are considered. The blurring of clearcut borders between established artistic categories is one of the central lines of development in contemporary art. Late 20th – early 21st century sculpture and architecture are used as examples to demonstrate the shifting of the morphological boundaries of these arts. Architecturality and sculpturality are highlighted as qualities of modern artworks that have gone beyond the boundaries of their specific categories.
