SPECIFICATION OF ENGINEERING PROPOSALS FOR FOUNDATIONS ON COMPACTED FILLS
In the present article engineering proposals (operation schedules) for foundations on compacted fills, aimed to improve their bearing capability, labour intensity (energy requirement) decrement, primarily in a rugged geological profile including thixotropic, heaving (swelling), collapsible, filled and other similar types of soils, have been outlined. The main technological processes applied to foundation works in tamped ditches, with the use of drop-in blocks, cast-in-situ and displacement stilts in drilled wells, including short stilts with rigging on a crane-type excavator of improved design have been researched.
