Imagined Ensenada: urban representations from childhood / Ensenada imaginada: representaciones urbanas desde la niñez
This paper is about the urban representations of the city of Ensenada, Baja California from the childhood imaginaries. It is based on the premise that the look of childhood on the city, under the flâneur analogy, is still devoid of expectation and thaerefore there are no prejudices on how to imagine and express it through drawing. Therefore, his representations of what Ensenada is are images that will be the product of his memory, his imagination, or even the product of his desire, and that can give us new interpretations of what this city means. Thus, from the narratives of living and inhabiting the city, there will reconfigurate an Ensenada that doesn't look at itself in wich the elements of the maritime landscape are more relevant over the urban ones become more relevant. / El artículo aborda, desde los imaginarios de la niñez, las representaciones urbanas de la ciudad de Ensenada, Baja California. Se parte de la premisa de que mirada de la niñez sobre la ciudad, bajo la analogía flâneur, aún está despojada de expectativa y por lo tanto no existen prejuicios sobre cómo imaginarla y expresarla a través del dibujo. Por lo tanto, sus representaciones sobre lo que es Ensenada son imágenes que serán producto de su memoria, de su imaginación, o incluso producto de su deseo, y que pueden brindarnos nuevas interpretaciones sobre lo que esta ciudad significa. Así, a partir de las narrativas del vivir y el habitar la ciudad se irá reconfigurando una Ensenada que se ve poco a sí misma en la que cobran mayor relevancia los elementos del paisaje marítimo sobre los urbanos.
