La démocratie participative dans les politiques culturelles métropolitaines : quel changement dans la conduite des politiques publiques ?
As participation is certainly now part of the imperatives of public action, it is essential to analyse how this injunction is confronting with some sector-specific public policies. The way the cultural policies have been built with some ambivalence regarding the issue of participation especially raises the question of the adjustment to this overall dictate. Meanwhile, the local contexts have a strong influence on the implementation of these mechanisms. They can only be analysed in the way they are connected to the day-to-day public policies. These ones more and more subjected at the local level to forms of territorialization are incorporating the participatory mechanisms in the same end of being tools for the local development.
