PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN INDUSTRI TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DI PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TIMUR
Research on the effect of industrial sector during the period 1993-2007 against the People's Welfare in the covers 13 District / Town of East Kalimantan province, were calculated using census. Model analysis of the data used for hypothesis testing is the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Square). Results of data analysis shows the industrial sector in the period 1993-2007 in East Kalimantan significantly affect public welfare, but not enough to generate significant economic growth, because the dominant sub-sectors of forestry, oil and gas.
