Dignity Memorial Mausoleum, Santiago, Chile, 2022. Grass+Batz Architects
Grass + Batz Architects has been collaborating for years with the Gente de la Calle Foundation through their professional practice, as well as workshops with students from various architecture schools. Given the constraints of physical space and budget, the Dignity Memorial Mausoleum is placed on an existing structure, expanding the provision of burial units for people who died while living on the streets, and creating a space for contemplation within the densely occupied General Cemetery.
