The art of talking less
Caricatures of Nizhny Novgorod architect Alexander Khudin are considered from the point of view of art history analysis. It is shown that the style of the caricatures gravitates towards minimalism. The basics of true minimalism are also considered in comparison with fakes. It is shown that true minimalism is characterised by such style-forming features as brevity while being filled with meanings and allusions, elegance, sincerity and objectivity.
