The establishment of operational amplifiers output steady state voltage
Operational amplifiers (OA) present indispensable elements in analog signal processing. In practice it is often important to determine how much time an OP's output voltage takes to get close to a steady state within predetermined boundaries. The existing literature just touches this question and generally gives undefined, incomplete and somewhere inaccurate answers. In this paper, results of detailed theoretical investigation of a transition process in the OP after an input voltage Heaviside step change are given.
