L’approche Living Lab et l’aménagement des espaces ouverts agricoles. Un exemple en région métropolitaine de Montréal
This article aims to present the work of a multidisciplinary team involved in the development of a Living Lab approach to unravel the pitfalls that hinder the development of a multifunctional open space in the city of Longueuil, at the periphery of the Montréal Metropolitan Community. First, we address the Living Lab approach and the concept of open space. It then outlines the key issues of agricultural areas in the greater Montreal area, focusing on how the agglomeration of Longueuil sought in the past to develop its open spaces as part of a project called the Continuum ville-campagne. Finally, we describe the beginnings of a Living Lab approach for the implementation of a Carrefour d’innovation bioalimentaire. The article is to document the early stages of a Living Lab experience in the development of an open agricultural space in Québec.
