Tebriz, arazi kullanımı, dikey gelişim Abtract: Land use within the city has presented the main character of a settlement and is affecting the development of the city. Land use within the city of Tabriz has been identified and examined in three different sectors as agriculture, industry and services. Period of development in the city varies according to the functional characteristics of this sector due to this situation city to have been affected. Tabriz city is Iran's most advanced city after Tehran in terms of the three sectors. Stages of development and land use characteristics are examined in the city of Tabriz, which is seen as a service-industry town. The position of this sector of the city has affected the status of the city in a similar way, distributed from the center toward the environment. In the center, commerce, education, transportation-oriented facilities, green areas and public places while in their seating areas around the covers. The city's west and southwest, facilities are located like petro-chemical, power generation, automotive, industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturing industries, stone and earth-based industries, furniture industry and construction industry. In these two sectors in the outer areas surrounding agricultural fields are located, which restrict them. The city's south, north and east is the place to prevent the development of industry in the west while in northwest of the city presence of airport also stops the development in this area of the city. For this reason, the city landscape as the spatial spread is not horizontal and shows increase in vertical development
