If we sometimes evoke the "softness" of cottage suburban areas, this judgment is primarily a default of investigation. This contribution aims to show ambivalence of these modes of life unknown to the anthropological level: highly standardized, they also contain unsuspected forms of resistance. It remains however to learn to discover these interstices of peri-urban life.
