Il saggio affronta il delicato tema della possibilità di costruzione di una identità della architettura italiana, a partire da quanto elaborato e prodotto nella seconda Novecento, fondata su due termini fondamentali: teoria, da un lato, e città dall’altro. Costanti nel pensiero di Maestri quali Rogers, Samonà e Quaroni, le questioni della architettura della città trovano nella analogia rossiana, innanzitutto come teoria del progetto, una possibile strada per governare ancora oggi la complessità del mondo contemporaneo. / The essay is about the difficult theme of building an identity of Italian Architecture, starting from what elaborated and produced in the second half of the Nineteenth century and founded on two basic terms: Theory, on one hand, and City, on the other hand. The issues of the architecture of the city by Rossi, constant in the reasoning of Masters as Rogers, Samonà and Quaroni, find in the Analogy, firstly as theory of design, a possible way to manage today the complexity of the contemporary world.
