Reduction of Sulphates from Mining Waters and Old Mining Loads
This article deals with the comparison of different methods of AMD desulphurisation. In experiments, the following chemicalmethods were used – precipitation using Ca (OH)2 and Al ions, sorption using different types of zeolites, activated charcoal, theirvarious combinations, inorganic composite sorbent and ion-exchangers. Test results were graphically compared.
