Dos experiencias de proyecto aparecen aquí relacionadas por un antiguo relato de los hermanos Grimm. El prototipo estructural de una torre armada con copas de cristal, tensores y barras de acero inoxidable, preparado para la exposición Global ends en Tokio, es uno de los extremos narrativos. Opuesto a él, una cavidad de granito y cedro -presentada en la Muestra central de la Bienal de Venecia en 2010- propone un espacio en penumbra, silencioso, fragante y seguro, a medio camino entre escondite y refugio ante la catástrofe.
An ancient tale by the Grimm brothers bonds two experimental projects: at one end, a structural prototype of a tower built with glasses, wire and stainless steel rods that was part of the Global ends exhibit in Tokyo. Standing in the opposite corner, a granite and cedar hollow -featured at the main exhibition of the 2010 Venice Biennial- offers a gloomy, silent, safe and scented space, halfway between hideaway and catastrophe shelter.
