A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
From Static to Ecstatic places places. From theory to architectural project
A combination of theory and practice on the subject of stillness is presented, great challenge today where everything seems to move faster. Using three cases reviewed in three stages: to admire, to listen and to dwell, these concepts will be reviewed and will be implemented in three locations, three programs and three different types of people. The proposal is to link theory and practice of architecture aspiring to configure from static places ecstatic places, places seeking ecstasy, which illuminate when in time, opening the possibility of a coexistence of inhabitants, project, context and city. Se presenta una combinación de teoría y práctica sobre la temática de la quietud, gran desafío en nuestros días donde todo pareciera moverse más rápido. A partir de tres casos revisados en tres etapas: ad-mirar, escuchar y habitar, se revisarán estos conceptos y se llevarán a la práctica en tres emplazamientos, tres programas y tres tipos de habitantes distintos. La propuesta es el vínculo de la teoría con la práctica arquitectónica aspirando a configurar el paso de lugares estáticos a lugares extáticos, es decir, lugares que buscan el éxtasis, que iluminan al ser en el tiempo, abriendo la posibilidad a una coexistencia de habitantes, proyecto, contexto y ciudad.
