Electrolytic phenomena of contact of steels in ordinary use; investigation of electromotive force of "piles" composed of pairs of steels of different compositions and effects on corrosion of assembles thus formed; emf of couples formed by pairs were very low and decreased rapidly; corrosion tests on assemblies showed no effect due to couple.
