Application of general theory of limit analysis to modified concrete arches to study collapse conditions predicted by plastic theory; in analysis presented, effect of deformation was neglected and only effect of axial forces was considered; experimental program included tests to destruction of two-hinged arches of difference spans, loadings and various cross-sectional properties; tests confirmed theoretical results obtained.
