Gorge Dam
Design and construction of rock fill dam for water supply of Hong Kong, rising 275 ft above stream bed level, 690 ft long, featuring heavy concrete strut block extending full height of dam also of sandwedge interposed between thrust block and rock fill; description of circular shaft spillway having capacity of over 8000 cu ft per sec, also 6 spillways having capacity of about 6000 cu ft per sec.
