A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Problem is formulated in matrix form, using principle of virtual work with displacements or forces as unknowns; method is especially suitable for high speed digital computers; it is concluded that, for such structures, analyzed in terms of matrix formulation, displacement method has great advantage over force method.
