Wind stresses in domes
Bending stresses due to antisymmetrical wind pressures in hemispherical dome elastically built-in into cylinder are determined by means of Geckeler approach extended to nonsymmetrical loads; methods used in solution of present problem are easily extended to spherical sector shells stiffened by rings at boundary and to other types of nonsymmetrical loads.
