Letter to editor discussing articles by B. P. HAIGH published in 1929 and 1930 and more recent article indexed in Engineering Index 1934 p 1061 from Dec 28 1934 issue of same journal, on Fatigue in Structural Steel; it is claimed results presented in this letter indicate that high ultimate tensile strength of some steels is not always reflected to same extent in endurance limit of specimens subjected to stress concentration effects.
