Preliminary analysis of continuous curved girder frames
Charts for preliminary analysis of continuous frames with curved girders are developed by means of general slope deflection equations; frames with circular girders and with 2, 3, and 4 equal spans, subjected to uniformly distributed loads, are investigated, and charts for joint moment coefficients are given; derivations are based on assumption of elastic deformation; numerical example is included.
