Method of moment distribution analysis of multi-story frames subject to sidesway can save great deal of time and is suited to multistory, trapezoidal frames; modified stiffness and carryover factors are derived that are used in same manner as in Hardy Cross moment distribution process; equations for determining fixed-end moments due to sidesway given.
