Mechanical properties of compacted soil subjected to repeated stress application
Series of loading tests was conducted on compacted loam specimens to determine effect of application of repeated stress on plastic and resilient strain; unconfined compression tests were carried out on specimens which had been subjected to repeated stress application; effects of water content, compacted density, and intensity and frequency of repeated stress on mechanical properties of specimens were determined.
