Serviceability ratings of highway pavements
Study was conducted to determine correlation of serviceability ratings made by experts in field of highway engineering with similar ratings made by typical road users, to determine correlation of roughometer measurements with present serviceability ratings, and to attempt development of simple, economical evaluation procedure for accurate rating; 60 pavement sections varied in length from 0.5 to 12.75 mi were studied.
