Aggregate degradation in bituminous mixtures
Laboratory study was performed using gyratory testing machine to determine factors affecting degradation of aggregate; 3 kinds of aggregates with different Los Angeles values were used; aggregates were blended according to 3 different gradations ranging from open gradation to Fuller maximum density gradation; 4 different asphalt contents were used; use of gyratory testing machine made it possible to change compactive efforts in magnitude and in repetition of load.
