Practical regime analysis of river slopes
Zoned graph plotting representative discharge of river against parameter composed of breadth, slope, and "zero bed factor" that corresponds to vanishingly small bed load charge, is presented; chart is recommended for tentative use as regime analysis chart for all regime type rivers under investigation; prerequisite graph for estimating zero bed factor from practical measure of bed material size is also provided, together with auxiliary one for applications involving known bed load charge.
