Design of flexible steel pipe under external loads
Practical design method of calculating flexible steel pipe wall thickness is used for determining thicknesses of pipe when external loads are greater than internal loads, thus controlling design; tables of earth loads, H-20 line loads and pipe deflections are included for steel pipe diameters ranging from 24 to 150 in., and with earth covers of from 4 to 15 ft.
