Some ethical implications of professional planning
Because disciplinary criteria are largely subjective in nature, two basic ethical questions are derived from incompatibility of " professional planning" with traditional concepts of professional discipline; engineer is responsible for implementing plan and should lead planning operation; planning should be restored to its proper and logical place as part of total engineering process and planning decisions must be measured against objective engineering considerations.
