Membrane stresses in laminated anisotropic shells
Stress analysis for anisotropic shells is presented in which shell structure is assumed to be composed of arbitrary number of bonded layers, each with different (constant) thickness, orientation of elastic axes, and anisotropic elastic properties; method for analyzing shells of revolution is shown by examples of symmetrical and asymmetrical loading of spherical shell; equations for calculation stresses in each layer are given.
