Methods of evaluating tensile creep and stress-relaxation of concretes subjected to continuously increasing loads
Methods to evaluate creep and stress-relaxation of concrete under continuously increasing tensile stress; 2 methods were employed to produce tensile stress through introduction of restraint of shrinkage; one method provided external restraint by placing 3 steel restraining rods on outside of concrete specimen; other method provided internal restraint by embedding steel rod on inside of concrete specimen.
