Creep and drying shrinkage of lightweight and normal-weight concretes
Investigation of mechanical properties of structural grade light weight and normal weight concretes; major part of work was planned to obtain comparative values of compressive creep, drying shrinkage, strengths, and moduli of elasticity for concretes made with 24 light weight and 5 natural, normal weight aggregates having same nominal strength at time specimens were placed under load; data are presented from total of 76 different concretes which show that there is wide range in values of mechanical properties of concretes of same nominal compressive strength.
