One of London's West End cinemas -- Plaza in Lower Regent Street -- has recently been converted into two; Paramount is 972-seat auditorium, while name Plaza has been retained for 820-seat house above it; theaters share entrance and foyer on ground floor of corner site; entrance area of foyer has luminous ceiling which is barrel-vaulted in form, cellular in construction, and made of glassfiber-reinforced plastics with glass-cloth diffuser; above it are 8-ft 125-w Atlas fluorescent lamps, providing lighting-level of 650 lux; other details.
