New center is in city's green belt, and yet easily accessible; main building is oriented toward South and protects sun lawns from North winds; it has 50×25 m pool with 7 m high diving tower, learner's pool and sauna; indoor appearance is enhanced by restaurant overlooking both pools; 120,000 sq m outdoor establishments include four pools (two of which are connected by 200 m long 1.5 m deep swimming channel), track, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, and lawns for games, gymnastics, sun bathing, archery, mini-golf and bowling.
