Water Movement in Unsaturated Sanitary Landfill
Moisture-routing methods based on equation of continuity are extended to provide approximate method for predicting vertical moisture movement through and out of sanitary landfill; method is based on climatological techniques of soil-moisture routing and incorporates hydraulic characterstics of unsaturated permeabel materials; using season and initial conditions on moisture regimen of hypothetical sanitary landfill.
