Membrane linings for canal construction
Membrane linings provide low-cost seepage control for Bureau of Reclamation on irrigation canals in water resources development projects; linings, which are flexible and impermeable, are placed on prepared canal subgrades and normally given protective earth cover; choice of lining material is made after considering factors of size, location, working conditions, service requirements and operating criteria.
