Daylight illumination of industrial buildings by means of skylights
Concept of daylight coefficient (DC) is introduced, expressed by ratio of illumination at measuring point inside building and horizontal illumination in open space; methods for calculating DC are reviewed and new method is proposed for determination of share of sky radiation in DC; application of method to industrial buildings with shed roofs is shown, effect of geometrical parameters on daylight illumination being considered; predictions and measurements are in satisfactory agreement.
