Operational hydrology using residuals
Algorithm for simulating multisite stream-flow or water quality data for hydrologic management and planning studies is demonstrated; key features are -- straightforward consideration of cross-linkage and Markovian correlations between gaging sites, and use of time-independent residual data having low average skewness for parameter estimation.
