Harnessing of Han river (Korea); Paldang falls; 300 m long 28 m high gravity dam has fifteen 20 m wide sluices equipped with 8.2 m diam radial gates and up- and downstream emergency gates designed to handle flood flows reaching 45,000 cu m/sec; power house designed for heads varying from 5 m to 14.4 m and flow of 800 cu m/sec has four bulb-type turboalternators of 22.6 kva each, housed in 80× 58×40 m high building connecting dam with river bank.
