56,000 cu m building houses 24×45 m arena with 3200-seat grandstands, five training rooms, changing rooms, restaurant, and airconditioning plant; uniaxial stressed-cable suspension roof has 60 m span and 4.87 m sag; its load-carrying elements are tension members 1.6 m apart; roof covering consists of 38 m thick prefabricated concrete panels hung onto cables by hooks; reinforced concrete terminal beams at both longitudinal sides of hall transmit load to grandstand stanchions which are 6 m apart.
