Stabilization of slopes of granito-gneissic residuary soils
When large rocks are embedded in residuary soil stratum or are resting on slope surface, most economical way of stabilization is by means of concrete slabs anchored to slope by means of prestressed steel rods sunk into slope; method is presented for calculating total cross section of anchor rods required for anchoring individual large rocks, and number of rods per surface unit required for stabilizing large slope surfaces.
