Scaffolding in elevated road construction
Development of various methods and systems currently in use for scaffolding of overpasses, viaducts and highway interchanges; concrete deck slabs of steel structures are supported either by timber bearing spanning between main steel girders, or by using telescopic steel centers; concrete structures are supported by "birdcage" method and are assembled of standard scaffold tube and fittings; for decks of 3 to 4 ft thick two sizes of tube are being used.
