Behavior of stabilized soils under repeated loading
Study is concerned with examination of soil stabilization requirements established by Corps of Engineers for military roads and airfields; Vicksburg silty clay and buckshot clay were selected for study; most of dynamic testing was performed on treated silty clay; results obtained indicate that cement-treated soil designed to meet Corps' criteria for California Bearing Ratio and compressive strength can withstand repeated compressive and flexural stresses of magnitude and number prescribed for different classes of military operations.
