Moving load test on experimental prestressed concrete highway slab
Investigation was initiated to determine loss in prestress in experimental prestressed concrete highway slab, to determine extent to which bonding of strands had been accomplished during grouting operation and to investigate effects of corrosion on strands; investigation was performed about 8 yr after pavement was constructed and 2 yr after it was subjected to moving load tests; longitudinal cracks had developed over some of tendons as result of moving load tests.
