Concrete pavement with continuous reinforcement and elastic joints -- Pull-out tests of bars and study of crack formation and joint openings
Tests, with various surface treatment conducted on test pavement are discussed; results showed that reinforcement with lowered adhesion to concrete constitutes marked crack inducers; net reinforcement distributes strain and results in increased load at cracking.
