Purpose of investigation is to demonstrate reliability of using aerial photographic interpretation as fast and economical method of locating granular materials; investigation covers identification features of granular deposits and list of different types of granular landforms; examples are given to demonstrate procedures used by Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, in locating granular fill material from aerial photographs for several construction projects.
