In order to estimate in advance extent of radiation damage to materials, approximation equation was derived which was based on energy considerations of damage process and took into consideration influence of experimental conditions and properties of material (particularly hardness, and elasticity modulus), as well as damage mechanism; for exact data, further experiments are necessary, particularly with materials whose elasticity modulus is situated in region of greatest damage. (In German with English and French abstracts. (30268)
