Flow retardance in vegetated channels
Quasi-theoretical analysis has been given for flow retardance in vegetated channels; based on this, logarithmic flow formula has been derived for flow in these channels; analysis has been illustrated with flow data obtained from channels in which natural vegetation was present and from laboratory flume having flexible artificial roughness elements fixed to bottom.
