Free streamline analysis of two-dimensional jet
Technique of integration across free streamlines is developed to derive parametric equations describing characteristics of jet discharging from two-dimensional slot; technique is illustrated by applying it to case study which is investigation of flow characteristics past wedge shaped obstacle placed symmetrically near end of channel; equations are developed which related deflection angle of free jet, width of jet, and boundary geometry; equations are expressed in terms of integration functions, which are presented graphically.
